Plan a paving project
Estimate asphalt tons or gravel volume for a driveway, path, parking area, or road section.
Choose a material and enter project dimensions → Get volume, weight, or concrete bag estimates.
Select the material used in your project. Each calculator estimates volume and adds material-specific weight or bag quantities.
Estimate paving volume and tons.
Estimate sand volume and weight.
Estimate gravel yards and tons.
Estimate soil for lawns and gardens.
Estimate concrete yards and bags.
Open the calculator for asphalt, sand, gravel, topsoil, or concrete.
Record the length and width of a rectangle, or the diameter of a circular area, plus the required depth.
Adjust the waste allowance, density, bag size, or optional price when your supplier provides better values.
Use the live estimate as a planning value, then confirm compaction and order increments with the supplier.
Estimate asphalt tons or gravel volume for a driveway, path, parking area, or road section.
Estimate sand, gravel, or topsoil for gardens, lawns, play areas, drainage, and other outdoor work.
Calculate concrete volume for a slab and compare a ready-mix quantity with an approximate bag count.
Each calculator first finds the surface area, multiplies it by the material depth, and converts the result into cubic feet, cubic yards, and cubic meters.
A selected waste allowance increases the order quantity. Material-specific calculators then use density to estimate weight or bag yield to estimate the number of bags.
A 20 ft by 10 ft rectangular area at 3 inches deep has a raw volume of 50 ft³. Adding 10% waste produces 55 ft³, or about 2.04 yd³, before material-specific weight or bag calculations.
